Yes, we are down in Antigua again. This time my parents and I were joined by Allie Elmore and Aaron Orman. We had a safe trip down and none of our luggage was lost! We have been able to help the Bakers with finishing the inside and outside of their house. The vast majority of our project have been painting, also some electrical, wood trim, grouting tile, etc... Please pray that the rain subsides so that Aaron and Mr. Baker can finish the cistern foundation before we leave next Wednesday.
I would like to be able to update this more often, but right after we got here the Waite's computer died, so now we all have to share the laptop. Needless to say, I don't have much time to check email, facebook or my blog. Thank you all for praying. I'll be posting some pictures and more details when we get home for sure.

More Evidence I learned to Snowboard...
...for those of you who are a bit skeptical. ;)

Okay, so this was before I had even tried to stand up on the thing...

No, I didn't spend the whole day on my backside.

Here it is: the proof--of course you can't tell that I'm moving, but I promise, I was. I made it down the big hill three times, so I had to have been moving. ;)

Me and my wonderful teacher and best friend! :D

Birthday Snowboard Adventure
So, this year for my birthday I decided to use my free lift ticket to try snowboarding. Aaron was my patient, willing teacher.
My family spent the weekend up at my aunt and uncle's cabin at Lake Arrowhead, so Friday morning Aaron and I headed over to the resort at Big Bear Lake--about 45 min. away. We had a great time and I even learned to snowboard to boot! ;) Friday night we celebrated my birthday with the family and I was pleasantly surprised to receive gifts from some of my family-to-be as well. My new nieces made me the sweetest cards!

I'm engaged!
Last Thursday, Valentine's Day, Aaron Orman asked me to marry him and I said yes! We are very exciting and planning a wedding for this summer.

The roses he sent me in the afternoon... sorry no pictures of the actual event. We were too happy to think of that at the time. Maybe we'll do a reenactment later. :)

Friday night we went to the symphony - notice the ring on my finger. :)

My beautiful engagement ring--Aaron picked it out himself and I think its perfect!

A fun weekend...
...this weekend my family attended a concert at the symphony on Friday night. We especially enjoyed the performance of Mussorgsky and Ravel’s "Pictures of an Exibition".

Aaron's first visit to Copley Symphony Hall
On Saturday we picked up my grandfather and his new caretaker, Jennifer, on the way up to Julian. He opted to stay in the car while we did some window shopping, but wasn't left out when it came to buying and eating the famous Julian pie. :)

The Day After Christmas with the Harrison clan
Christmas Day with the Ormans
I had a lovely time on Christmas Day with the Orman family. Unfortunately, I didn't get pictures of everyone, but here are a few of the best ones I took. I was experiementing with my new camera, so some of them have strange coloring. :)
